We received more reports on the progress of our Visas today we now have Uzbekistan under our belts. Our passport’s are going to look extremely full and well traveled at the end of the rally.

Oh yeah….. We had an early start today but well worth it. We done a boot sale in Newport today and raised about a Tank and a half of fuel.
Man people see you pull up in your car and flock around to start rifling through your car afraid that they will miss a bargain. So we applied the tactic of putting it all just out of reach, more for our own amusement than anything ...

Ross’s driving licence came back with the correct address on it so that’s a great weight off now. He still looks stupid in the picture though.

It’s been a very hard slog trying to sort our drive shaft. And at one point we almost resorted to jacking up a swift down the road and pinching theirs from underneath. Instead, after a quick meeting with Steve, we decided to swallow our pride and beg at the Suzuki ...

The Splines didn’t quite match up on the Shaft, so we have a desperately busy morning tomorrow trying to find a complete ‘Drive shaft’ .Poor Steve who is doing the work for us. He has the patience of a ‘Guns and Roses Fan’ waiting ...

It has been a quite day on the rally front a few phone calls were made today which where good .and a meeting about an event which will be amazing so keep looking on the site around the Rally Launch date.

The task for today was hunting down the part we need….and we done it and ordered for delivery within the next 2 days .

We are now £72 lighter in the wallet department but happy about it now lets just hope it all goes well from now on in the car department..

Bad news today

The part that was ordered for the car didn’t arrive and now we have been told by the company that we are out of stock.(they could of told us Friday ).
Steve is trawling the Net for another so here’s hoping.
We have decided to use the Euro tunnel ...

Sebs camera arrived today and very nice it is too, he is so proud. He did do lots of reading to get the right one for him and it has paid off, I think by tomorrow he will have worked out how to turn it on.

We stocked up on food /medicines to add to the already growing stock pile of supplies.

Our car manual arrived today so now we are definitely invincible in the mechanical front…. (Well maybe a little bit more clued up)

Well today was all about adventure lessons, some hard core training was put in today (about 4 hours).The lesson’s of choice were ‘Indiana Jones Raiders of the lost Arc’ and ‘Temple of Doom’.
