Hi I’m Seb, and I’m Ross. We’re two guys that live on the Great Isle of Wight and about a year ago we heard about the Mongol rally. Now sometimes thing’s just jump out and you say ‘YES I’ve got to do that’...
...That was the case for us with this rally.
So here we are!
We are now the drivers of team Mighty Wight and part of the Mongol Rally, an organised charity endurance race with the purpose of raising money and awareness for charities and the country of Mongolia, but more on that later…
Seb, originally from the beautiful city of Zwolle in the Netherlands, finished his studies at Deltion College and decided to see the world. After living in America for several years he’s come to England in pursuit of his passion for the outdoors.
For all those people back home the next section is in Dutch.
"Hallo allemaal. Hopelijk is deze flyer goed to begrijpen. Samengevat ga ik als enige Zwollenaar in de race met mijn goede vriend Ross in een zeer kleine auto die compleet ongeschikt is voor de trip, van London naar Mongolie rijden, ongeveer 16.000km. We doen dit om geld in tezamellen voor de CNCF."
And Ross, well he’s travelled most of the world hitching on cargo ships and lived a good part of his life as a rancher in Australia. His humble beginnings though were in Essex on the East coast of England.
