Well here is the second day of the log,
Today’s Rally antics started with a near head on collision at the scrap yard and of all people it just happened to be Colin the guy who has sorted our Roof rack and helping us with the suspension.

After a quick chat he informed me that he was going back to take the shocks off for us. I parked up and donned my faithful rucksack of tools and trudged off to the Swifts that had already met their demise at the hands of the island roads,

Today I stripped off a Radiator, hoses, Fuel pipes, Thermostat, relays, and clips.

From the scrap yard I took off to Signpost Express and ordered our Team Logo stickers for the car, then drove all 30 yards to Isle of Wight Radio and rattled  on there door ,and spoke to a very nice Lady called Chloe about doing something with the Radio ,and 1 week before we set off we will be going onto the Breakfast show and telling the Island and the south all about our Epic journey we are about to throw our selves into .So here’s where  our story on the road could be broadcast from whilst on the Rally.(Cool, Very Cool).

With a Quick stop to B&Q the snorkel making kit was purchased from the Plumbing isle  ,()in the hope that raising the Air intake higher we will avoid  a lot of dust and debris.

I finally collected the last of our Rally stuff stored at Osborne garage and it now has a home down the side of our house under a tarp instead of its cosy little garage it was used to.

To forget about the Rally for a while I went out with my Bike club tonight and Blasted around disturbing the peace with my extremely loud Bike.

Maybe the next adventure should be on bikes!!!!!!!!!!!

Over and out for now
