Well Today went very well and very well indeed.
I was awoken to the constant sounding of text messages on my phone telling me ‘you’re on the Radio’ so I tuned in and there we were on the News so that was an excellent start.
Today I went to meet Jim at ‘ATS’ and ...
...had a very very helpful chat with him and will be sorting out a morning going over how to fit tyres and fix punctures. He was most helpful in the department of advice and information, and here’s hoping we can get some help with a set of tyres too…..
The building of the Snorkel was next on the agenda today I took pictures of this and used a 1 and a 1/2 inch tile drill bit to cut the front wing hole and used plumbing equipment to construct the snorkel and now it is made and fitted with the option to attach another section to raise it as high as the Viking longboat.
Genie (sprayer) set too on the Longboat today and has sprayed our logo on both sides and is currently sorting/ adding www.com to it as well, whilst Genie was spraying I got busy with making the Brackets for the shields to be mounted on and once Genie had finished we also attached the shield mounts and shields.
At first I wasn’t sure I liked them so we put up the mast and hoisted the sail and a unanimous decision from the neighbours around was ‘that looks excellent all together’ I just grinned and smiled at Genie we were both thinking the same thing ‘that looks cool’
The seal of approval came when the neighbourhood kids wanted to play in it so maybe tomorrow we will let there be mini Viking’s in the garden.
