Some thing a bit physical was on the plan for today but once again started with ‘faire alerter’ going off and getting me out of bed.A house fire.
So after Break fast I lifted the Longboat off of the car and round into the garden replaced the rope...
...on the ends that was rotten.we use these to help stabalise the longboat.so they were quite important to fix.
The next thing on todays list was to make and fit the Radiator protection.This took about 40 minutes and also the loss of a snapped bolt on the centre of the bumper but it will hold(he says now,lets wait and see after Turkey shall we).So this was done and I have managed to obtain about a million cuts and grazes on my hands.overall I was proud of it and hopefully it will do its job when the time comes.
Tonight I’m off to meet Seb and have a bit of a meeting about the Rally.
The inflatable roof rack in now off in readiness for the storms tomorrow as last time water ran into the car and soaked every thing.
Maybe I’ll start the Snorkel tomorrow if it stops raining.
