Our car, with the new drive shaft installed, has had it's first little test drive! There are a few little things still to finish off. Ross explained that Steve will still need to put in a new little split pin and a ...

....cv boot clamp. (Yeah i've got no idea what their talking about either, but I'm sure it'll be just fine.) Ross made a fantastic job of sealing up the bottom of the longboat. So good in fact that when hosing down the yard the other day it filled with water quite nicely. This would not be so good when it's on the roof of our Swift, 'Ross why is your neck so kinked?' 'Well i think the roof collapsed a bit Seb!' So we've been measuring up the long boat to get a cover made. We're not sure how to keep it down but that'll come later. We've also started looking at our intended accommodation. Ross assisted his son Brennan in setting up one of our three possible tents. A further report with some extensive testing (e.g the fart test) is soon to follow
